What is a web app?
Some websites can be installed and opened from an icon on your phone or computer. A Progressive Web App (PWA) is built for this: it can open in its own window, and may offer offline use or notifications.
You install it from the original website using your browser. The steps depend on your device. Saving an ordinary website as a shortcut does not necessarily make it a PWA.
